Outside of acting, her hobbies includes photography, humanitarian work and spending Time with her four dogs; Ripely, Star, Hugo, and Lucy. Her other pets to are birds and horses. Milan suffers from Dyslexia. In an interview in 2004, Milan explained how she deals with her Dyslexia:
“While I've stumbled over words reading from TelePrompTers. Sir John Gielgud, whom worked with on “the The Canterville Ghost” years needle, gave advice me great.
